G LAKSHMANANA Vadhya Visharad Graduate from Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) in Tabla. Initial training from Guru Ahmed Sarfraaz, and currently a senior disciple of Guru Mihir Kundu. A pre-degree graduate in music from Lasalle College of The Arts, Singapore. Currently an active performer and teacher of Tabla in Singapore. Also involved in other academic activities in music, such as Music Therapy research and Music Pedagogy research.
Completed Arangetram in 2015, a regular performer at key festivals of music in Singapore. Have performed extensively abroad as well. Have accompanied renown artistes from India during their concerts in Singapore. A versatile Tabla player also providing accompaniment support to solo dance recitals as well as major dance productions.
